MEDITATE YOUR WAY TO GOOD HEALTH
In this workshop, Virginia and Maridel invite you to learn how to raise your vibration through the chakra system and tune into your creative Source. Meditation is a simple technique you can use to literally improve and help heal the very cellular structure of your physical body, especially the brain. Whether you simply want to increase your sense of well-being, or are seeking a method to raise your awareness of Source, Edgar Cayce recommended meditation for everyone. It is an excellent tool to reduce tension and stress, and it can also improve your psychic ability.
You will learn about the latest research on the benefits of meditation and several techniques from the Edgar Cayce readings, including how even a 3-minute meditation can improve your health. Participants will learn various breathing techniques to enhance and balance their chakras, including how breath can prepare you to receive the many benefits of meditation, and align you more closely with Spirit.
Whether you’ve been meditating for years or are interested in trying it for the first time, you will experience some of the benefits of individual and group meditation, including: memory improvement, stress reduction, increased ability to learn, how kundalini energy travels from chakra to chakra, how to become more compassionate and tolerant of others, and to deepen your connection to Source.
The Speakers
Maridel Barr, J.D. is an A.R.E. volunteer, study group member and former Asilomar Conference Coordinator. A long-time student of the Cayce work, she discovered Edgar Cayce as a teenager when she picked up a book about him on her Grandmother’s coffee table. At 13, she began her meditation studies, when her family learned Transcendental Meditation together. Since then, she has practiced many of the various Cayce meditation methods, including the 3-minute meditation, a passage in consciousness and has a daily meditation practice.
Virginia Young has been studying the Cayce work for more than 40 years. She now serves the A.R.E. Northern CA Region through her work as a member of their volunteer team. She has served children and families for 30+ years as an educator and family consultant. She currently owns Jubilee Montessori Preschool in San Francisco where she teaches children and trains teachers. She practices a well-ness lifestyle and adheres to the practices described by Edgar Cayce, considering meditation, correct breathing, exercise, a whole foods diet, positive attitude and daily study and prayer as basic practices for good health.
