Bay Area Circle Dancers presents an evening of dancing to the music of Da! Mozhem, a popular local band and chorale. This group of nine musicians and singers plays a variety of Balkan and international music on traditional and modern instruments and sings lush multi-part harmonies. You may have seen, and even danced with them, at the Solano Stroll last fall! Each dance will be taught, so beginners are welcome, and the dances are done in circles, so no partners are needed. Come dance to pan-Balkan music with an emphasis on Bulgarian, Macedonian and ex-Yugoslav traditions.
Potluck dinner from 6:00-7:00, dancing from 7:00-10:00. A $10 donation for the band is appreciated.
